Here is my contribution to the months theme. Thanks a stack for commenting on my previous images. A pair of impalas spar at Ruaha NP, TZ. It was late in the morning but they were so playful that I had to get some shots!

Hi Sanjeev - Good action and you handled the harsher light well. Were they on a slope or does it need some cw rotation?

Rachel I think it needs a little rotation, it was a slope but not too steep. Thanks.

These boys are practicing for the real fight - they can really hammer each other when fully grown and in full rut.
Nicely done with the light you had, agree on the rotation...

Hi Sanjeev -- I guess you now tend handle harsher light situations quite well and this one is no exception . I liked the action here not the ideal settings but still works fine .

Hi Sanjeev, like the interaction and locked horns.

If it was on a slope as you said, then fair doo's, but it could be a visual thing about the rotation and how the eye perceives this. You don't say if this is FF or cropped, but as presented, rotating the image could be limited due to content, but I think it needs to be around 2.8????

Hi Sanjeev love the interaction shot ... sadly no dust flying , so i think it was more gambling than fighting .
I really like the realistic color rendition , and your contrast balance in this frame . Sharp where it counts and the detail is very pleasing .

    TFS Andreas
