    We had quite a Aurora explosion up here, well after midnight, but worth the wait for sure, At Crex Meadows wildlife area, Wisconsin Canon 6D Sigma 18-35 mm at 35 mm, f2.0, 6 seconds 5000iso

    Hi Michael, I have yet to attempt capturing an aurora image but I want to do so and I appreciate the magnificent depth of color. The green band, vertical streaks and red is just beautiful. Even though the reflection of color on the water surface is attractive, I would be inclined to show less water and more sky or just go wider. I kind of want to see where the vertical streaks end and I want to see the clear heavens above the light display. Great capture, thanks for sharing. steve

    A lovely aurora display...great colors too...I would evict the cattail leaves along the bottom edge of the comp.
