From a couple of weeks ago. There was a small flock of 8-9 of these guys foraging to my left, making their way to the end of a strip of mud projecting into the water. I had a hunch that when reaching the tip of that strip they would fly over to the next one to my right, with a flight path that would have them fly right in front of me. As I was hoping, they did exactly that, and luckily I was able to get the camera to lock onto one of them and get a couple of good flight images. This one was my favorite for the downward wing stroke showing the neat marking of the wing.
