Just back from a couple of weeks hiking in an area of Switzerland I’ve known for the last 30 years. It’s the only time I’ll travel light with photo gear, but still haul with both photo/clothing gear around 14-18kgs a day, as weather can change in an instant. However, having seen some of Andrew McLachlan's recent excellent work posted here on BPN, I did also pack the 8-15mm Fish eye for some fun, with the awesome Canon 1DX MK2.

    Steve:

Love the drops on the nose. Not sure I would want her to nuzzle me however. Fish eye was the perfect choice here!

Thanks Randy, the Fisheye is a great lens, as it can provide some 'creative' PoV, plus some serious frames too. You need to be careful of vignetting and because of the angle it can bring in some elements into the frame you may wished you hadn't, but as I said, it more for fun and exploring.
Hope you had a great Xmas and wish you and your family a lovely New Year.

    Steve
