This is in continuation to my previous post where the Elephant stripped the bark of the trees with its tusk, you can see clearly how it has shredded the bark, the tusk wedged in it & how nicely it is sucking the fresh bark! It was a unique sight for me in my 4 trips to Africa. Am sure some may point out at the lack of eye contact here, but the behaviour was worth capturing for me at least.

Interesting photo and interesting behavior. Not a "hang on the wall" sort of photo, but it documents behavior not usually observed. I like it.

Hi Sanjeev - Techs looks good and I agree with Doug's observations. Any chance you zoomed in more on the behavior e.g. tusk and trunk?

They sure can damage these baobabs!
Nice behaviour captured here. I too would have liked an even closer view?

Hi Sanjeev, agree on the above, sadly this one doesn't quite work for me either, going closer I doubt would help as I feel the tip of the trunk needs to be clearly doing something. Techs look good and a sensible SS to nail the capture.

HI Sanjeev -- Nice behaviour captured ! I too agree with the above comments , had that tongue been visible then it might have been an altogether different story, but that is something not in your control . Techs look good .

    TFS !
