Fairies are real!
A fairy flycatcher photographed at The Cavern hotel in the Drakensberg.
This bird is one of the more difficult species to photograph as it is constantly flitting about, so to have it sit still was a real bonus.
Pity about the flower slightly in front of the bird and the middle branch being a little longer than I would have liked, but since I have not see this bird on the forum I thought some may still enjoy it.

I don't remember seeing one of these on BPN either, a very beautiful species! I like the setting for the most part, except for the oof stuff at the left edge. That branch you mention would be easily shortened with Content Aware or Patch Tool or Clone Tool (or a combo between these) if you are OK with that type of image manipulation.

Richard I very much like the bird and all the foliage and bg to the right of the bird,spoil t just a bit by the oof stuff just to the left of the bird,that is one cracking looking little bird, very well done capturing it.
