Hi Lorant, I cant recall ever seeing such a young Flamingo, so kudos to you for sharing. I like the pose with the semi raised leg, and the total calmness of the water has resulted in a very clear reflection. Im assuming the lighter band across the image are distant OOF Flamingo's.
Thanks for your words, Stu. The OOF band is our Mayan clay...it is a little strip of land that characterizes the area. In many places people go and "bath" in that clay. They believe it is good for the skin. I have done it a few times and it feels great. :)
This is a first for me seeing a baby flamingo. Love the low view here. I am wishing the clay line to be a lot lower in the frame as it cuts the bird. Not that there is anything you can do about it.
I agree about the clay but still a really cool look at this gangly juvie. The reflection is awesome. Well done
