I found this guy during a morning walk at a local park which is operated primarily as a wildlife sanctuary inside a rather large city (Martin Nature Park in Oklahoma City). He was walking along a wooded creek bank so calmly and so unconcerned about me that I thought he might have been injured. He let me get pretty close before finally flying off - to my relief. I had already reported to the park employees that they might have an injured Heron in the park. Glad I was wrong. Let me know what you think.

Richard nice environment surrounding the heron but there are some blown whites and it looks to be a bit soft, also the crop seems a bit tight.

Good shot. I think that if you were able to get down to or below eye level you might have had a better angle.
