Resting Green turtle
A difficult theme for me this month due the places I've been (or not been to be more precise), but this is a Green Turtle, which is classified as 'endangered'.
Taken in the Maldives as he was having a rest outside his cave. Due to the features of the locality this was the only angle I could get, with hindsight I should have zoomed out a bit, but when the group saw me with him they came over too quick and he was off for a swim. Full frame with a bit of canvas added to the right to give a bit more breathing room.
Canon 7d
Token 10-17mm fisheye lens at 17mm
ISO 200
1/125th f9
Subal housing with 2 x inon z240 strobes

Hi Mike -- Always good to see some variety. I think you have done a nice job with the subject. Details look just fine to me . Agree with it being a bit tight specially at the bottom and front , but you did a good job on that canvas part .
TFS !

Hi Mike - Interesting to see one stationary and get a good look at the flipper. Nice exp and colors. Yes, a little tight but overall this works.

I don't mind it being tight as he's stationary.
Nice details and colours, and a good varietal addition to the theme, Mike
