    Photo of a pair of sandhill cranes displaying. I cropped the photo quite a bit.
    Canon Xti, 400mmf5.6 lens.This is one case I wish I had a longer lens. Normally I just try to get closer but there's no way you can sneak up on a pair of cranes in an open field.

    super interaction image Dave...together they make a good image, where one individually would be awkward.

    Appears a bit dark on my monitor.....doe this look any improved to you?
    Levels and 2 round local contrast enhancement and slight selective sharpening

    Great pose! Agree with Dave about darkness of image, would brighten even further...
