    Hope so this fit for September's theme. Image was created in the month of Feb,2013.
    Basic editing. Cropped for composition.


    ISO: 1600, 1/640 @5.6. Exposure bias+.7, patterning metering.
    Canon 550D, 100-400 mm.

    What amazing feather detail, Satish. I'll add the beak and the eye as well. So sharp I we see the horizon with setting sun reflected in the eye. Beautiful feather colors and lovely BG.

    Details are very nice on this one. I like the crop of the HA. Also like the way it looks against the background. I would apply noise reduction to the background. As posted it looks quite noisy. They eye could use a round of noise reduction as well.

    You certainly got some feather details, especially on the shoulder area where critical focus seems to be. Good colours and comp. I agree about NR on the BG and the eye, and perhaps an overall contrast boost.

    Hi Satish, Great feather details. I like the colors. I think you can further reduce the noise in the background. Try using Nik software or Neat image they will reduce the noise effectively.
    Great capture. Indian roller, its our state bird in India and is definitely in my list to photography. Thanks for sharing.
