Default Pectoral Sandpiper in Golden Light.

As far as bird photography goes, nothing beats lying prone in shallow water at sunrise photographing beautiful migrating shorebirds such as this juvenile Pectoral Sandpiper. There was just a small gap of nothing but clean golden water - there are items immediately to the left and right outside of the frame, I was so happy when it stopped, even for a half second, in that small gap!

The low perspective and the out of this world lighting are just as good as it gets in this image. I think it could be a little sharper esp around eye, head and neck. A very eye pleasing frame!

Light is stunning; your usual POV excellent. A beautiful frame. Yes to a tad more sharpening on head and neck.

Hi Dan, exquisite light, which in turn has brought out that lovely golden colour to the overall image. Love the semi raised foot, and I do like the different colour of the ripple running across the frame.

Insanely beautiful frame. The color scheme, pose and that LIGHT are to die for. Could not agree with you more about that amazing early morning or late evening light. The background is great as well. I do agree with others that the head could use a little more sharpening.

Stunning shot Dan, beautiful light, and yet another T-shirt ruined by the water is a small price to pay for this shot. Smooth creamy effect and and the white streak in the water makes a huge positive difference. Another vote for a tad more sharpening.

A real beauty Daniel! I like the walking pose, sweet light, low angle, IQ and composition.
