    Hi everyone, first post to introduce myself.

    My name is Lance and Im a photographic guide. I was referred to this forum by Rachel Hollander.

    Feel free to critique or just say hi. Look forward to being back on forums....its been way to long.

    This image was taken in the last available light about 5 minutes after sunset...

    Hi Lance - Glad you signed up and great to see you posting! I think you'll recognize some posters as well as some of the subjects in the Wildlife Forum. Intense eye contact and nice b&w treatment.

    First thought: great eye contact. Then, seems a bit dark, but then read what time of day it was. Then I noticed the tongue: great capture there.

    Hey Lance, good to see you here!
    Looking forward to your participation in the wildlife section.
    Nice first post - intense stare and good mono treatment (see you've been rocking the B&W of late)

    Touching on what Hazel said - I think you can dodge the highlights a bit more for better tonal contrast, it would make the lion "pop" a bit more as well. But let's leave the critique for the critique forum
