    Default Whistling kite

    It`s been a while since I had time to post images but here is one from the past weekend with good weather taken at Paiwalla wetlands in South Australia. This kite has just taken off from a dead tree and was looking for prey on the ground while its mate was still perched and watching the surroundings. Canon EOS-1D X Mark II, EF600mm f/4L IS II USM +1.4x III, 1/2500, f8.0, ISO 800, handheld. PP in DPP 4 / CS6, critique and comments welcome.
