Nicely processed and I like the cooler tones signifying the fall of night.
I am 50/50 on the "in focus" moon. My mind just knows that you won't ever get both in focus eh - it does work, but I think I would slightly prefer the natural version with a soft, OOF moon?
The cool thing about photographing cats in dusk light is how large and alert their pupils are dilated. Of course I don't have to mention that I love the setting on the open rock.
Perhaps you could even get away with upping the subject brightness a wee bit?

Hi Marc - I have looked at this a couple of times trying to decide if it worked for me with both "in focus" (though the moon looks slightly soft). Morkel summed up my thoughts well. I did wonder why you didn't wait for the moon to be higher so thanks for explaining that. It does look like a rather majestic lion, overseeing his kingdom. I would be curious to see the image of the lion in focus without the moon swapped.
TFS,
Rachel

Hi Marc -- Agree with Morkel , the scene is very beautiful but i would have prefered the moon oof rather than both in focus . Also that glow around the moon would have been there which actually is adding to the mood of the image . And the Lion can be brightened a bit more . Nonetheless these are some amazing settings in which one can encounter a Lion .
TFS !
