Feather Detail: Snowy Egret headshot
It's not the most detail you'll ever see in feathers, but there's some. The picture was taken at Ft. Desoto seconds before a nasty lady calling herself a "bird steward", but much better described as a sea cow, showed up and started screaming at us for existing.
1/640 at f/10, ISO 800, 7d mk.II, 100-400 IS II zoom.
