    One of my resident dragonflies that I captured today on my backyard setup. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D7000
    Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED shot at 400mm (600mm FFE)
    1/500 F/13 Matrix Metering 0 EV ISO 720, white balance corrected
    Post processed in Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC, slight green cast removed in Photoshop
    Cropped for composition and presentation

    Hi Joseph...beautiful colours on this dragonfly and a nice out of focus background. I do wish the left wings were as sharp as the right side wings...the Ansel Adams quote in your signature is one of my most favorite quotes

    Looks beautiful I like the pose and perch along with composition. The left wings are as mentioned by Andrew just a little off focus but the overall quality of the image is excellent.
    I haven't a clue how the scene actually looked but it makes me wonder if a little more contrast is needed - I may be totally wrong here??

    Hi Joseph, I really like the details in the body and the color for this species looks good to me (I only see them when visiting FL). Nice BG and perch. Well done.
