WoW! You had some great weather and light on your Florida trip!
Love the whites and the soft blue/grey BG.
Tack sharp, lovely POV and I ike how the bird is moving towards you.Is that a transmitter on his back?
I feel like this needs a bit of CCW rotation,
Gail

Agree with Gail about the rotation but what a great looking image. Whites are fantastic and a great looking pose. Great capture.

I first noticed the need for rotation as I opened the image. Other than that, top shape! I love the foot dragging in the water. If that is a transmitter on the back it is rather unfortunate IMO.

I thank you all. That really looks like a transmitter.

Great action Frank and a cracking background. Yes the 'transmitter' is a bugger - its the first thing I noticed and would probably remove it. I was also going to suggest adding a small catch light but see the RP has one

Chi Frank, terrific image and i really like the HA, the raised foot and the BG. Whites are exposed beautifully. There is a reddish egret research study underway at Ding Darling and my guess is this white morph is in that group, due to the proximity, etc, ... I had photographed there in the Spring and the two reddish egrets each had transmitters...

very nice colours, very soft background that looks great !
the second pictrure is exactly right for me
and the transmitter is not a big deal, but i found it very interesting here.
