    I have taken this picture from a hide and wanted to show the bird in his environment

    Nice frame Eric. I really like the erect pose and the great colors in this one. Looks like he is upset or displaying to make himself look bigger. Nice details, nice perch and nice BG too. My only suggestion would be to do some NR on the BG to remove the texture but that's not to bad either. Oh, I like the comp with the reeds too. Well done

    I love this!
    Great pose and I love the reeds. They look like "his subjects".
    I could see a version with the middle branch cloned out. It would give a nice sense of separation between the "king and his subjects"!
    IQ is excellent and beautiful light and BG.

    Eric, This is a case where space really adds to the mood of this shot, very nice, great colors, nice and simple.
    I might consider to remove the 2 leaves directly under the perch though.
