    Default Loon-I-see (attempt #2)

    This is the same boat trip, but framed a bit further away, with some of the selective color adjustments suggested in my previous thread. I like the eye on this one more than the first. I did the same detail extractor/contrast mask work I used for the first image.

    Forgot to add specs: 7d mk.II, 300 f/2.8 IS, 1/400 @ f/4, ISO 800

    Nice to see you were able to get in close enough to capture him so tight, but the framing would be a bit more flattering with a little more room, esp. in front. Good shooting angle, nice display of the subtle ribbing on the breast,angle in the frame. I find the slightly stretched neck shown here is more flattering than when they are all tucked in. Green showing around the 'necklace' is always a plus. Hope to see more from your adventure.
