Hey Keith, looks like you were on your belly for this one. Nice detail and color on the fur of the hair. Our rabbits here as small compared to this. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Keith, very good detail and sharpness with a nice lowish angle. I only wish for a slight more head turn towards us but no deal breaker.

Hey Keith ,how are you good sir?? Keith colours look great to me for a start and you were close too ,good stuff buddy, really well done !!I am interested in your pov that Sanjeev raised could you elucidate please. Sorry I haven't been in touch mate so **** busy, not forgotten though Keith we'll speak soon hopefully.
Keith what time of day was the image taken? I guess it's a fairly classic hare pose Keith but I think really well executed, sure maybe just a tiny bit of head turn would be nice ,she's just facing away a tiny bit by the ears,is she not??
I might be tempted to just take a bit off the bottom Keith roughly where that oof ridge is,it feels like there is just a bit too much of the dark soil in this lower area to me. I have a deep fondness for this mystical animal buddy as you well know and you are a kindred spirit ,so i've really enjoyed this take on 'ol big ears. Thanks for sharing it,I'll watch to see what the others say as i'm very interested!!
take care

Hi Keith -- This is a lovely Hare image ! i too wish the head angle slightly towards the camera could have been better , also i might crop a bit of the FG . looks nice and sharp .

Nice one Keith! I do agree it could have worked better with a hint more angle towards you. I would also attempt to add the slightest round of sharpening to the subject to make it pop.
I like the colour contrasts, but agree with Stu it could do with a slight shave off the bottom.

Works for me Keith, thanks for the reply,it helps me so much especially with an animal such as this that I know a little about. Great take buddy!!!
Ahh Keith I nearly got some mad march antics in August(beggars belief does it not),had a pair together, missed the first spat of boxing while getting close. Stayed with them got them used to the shutter they were just coming back together and getting closer when a runner appeared ,in the middle of nowhere I was..... game over. Ahh mate I could have cried, I didn't realize until a friend told me earlier this year that they can breed up until August apparently, seems like he was telling me the truth ,there was certainly something afoot !!
Thanks again Keith your images have always driven me to try again and try harder, this is no exception
take care mate

Hi Keith, like the warm light and the almost 'nonchalant' pose here. I don't mine the side profile and the fact you don't have eye contact, it works for me. the tad more sharpening has helped but the light trim at the foot, I'm 50/50 on. Colour is looking good and I'm glad to see a change of format too.

Keith, at this size it's often very subjective and you can also add some specific sharpening to parts if required, however for me it's all about the RAW, is that sharp or soft, that's the ultimate goal. When I process rarely do I change any settings, or add an additional round of sharpening, it's all pretty standard. But, comparing the two, the RP is fractionally better.

Hi Keith - Just catching up after having been away for 3 weeks. The rp does it for me. Nice job on the colors. No one else has mentioned it but perhaps a little ccw rotation looking at the rear leg?

Keith the repost looks very good to me, lovely details and he looks as if he is at complete ease, I am not sure that a head turn would have made a great deal of difference, marginally perhaps.
-
Thanks Rachel, not sure about the rotation I wonder if it's the fact that the front feet are in a bit of a hole that gives the impression of not been level. Thanks Jon, Hares as i'm sure you know do have a typical way of sitting and must admit it is usually when they are feeding or grooming that you get one with much of a head turn, they sit in there typical pose for an age, wonder if it is down to sitting in there forms for so long and with very little movement which might attract predators.
Keith.
