    Default Yellow-Crowned Night-Heron

    I captured this image while at Fr. Desoto for a couple hours early on a recent morning. I was surprised to find this heron working the surf line, normally I see them in the mangroves. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Sharp with a nice head angle. Bummer on the beach crud, especially the stone or rock by the bird's right foot. I have seen them often last two years in the surf.

    Joe everytime I see these beach pictures of yours I want to dip my toes in that warm water or go and get my fishing rod.Think you have caught this very well it all looks nice and sharp with good exposure.
