The City Fishing Pier on Anna Maria Island, noontime, Florida bright sunshine, white bird. The only thing that save this image from the trash bin was that the bird was close to the water. The surface of the water acted like a big reflector illuminating what normally would be dark shadows. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    1/2000 F/7.1 Matrix Metering -1 EV ISO 280 AWB
Post processed in Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC, removed a color cast from the reflected water on the white of the bird, worked on the whites with a curve and adjustment brush in Lightroom to even the exposure, noise reduction to the background to soften the appearance, darkened the luminance of the background
    Cropped for composition and presentation

I like the pose and wing position, something has gone wrong in the processing, the egrets feet look blue and there is heavy posterization and strange colors in the BG

Hi Arash, thank you for viewing and commenting. I know exactly what happened... too much work on the image, loosing sight of what was happening. Here is a edit starting from the beginning again, using another method of removing the green/turquoise color cast.

the feet still look blue but the BG is much better. it looks like you have to adjust the WB....

    Hi Joe,
Have to agree with Arash on this. The colors are wonky.

Hi Guys and Gail, how does the expression go... threes a charm (let's hope). Taking Arash's and Steve Kaluski's advice I made some changes to the WB. Hoping this looks better, if not then the trash bin blaming the strong reflected color cast from the water. Thanks again everyone.
