    Taken in Iceland on the same grey, rainy misty day as previous image.
    Canon 1 DX
    600mm and 1.4x HH
    ISO 1600 SS 1/1250 F 6.3
    PP; Crop to ~55% FF, NR to BG, usual clarity slider (+9) and saturation (+5) then off to CS5 for levels and DE at 1 % to bird, USM to JPEG. Nothing cloned or added.
    BG is a mountain with heather.

    Another nice flight shot. I preferred the flight position in the first, but this is good too, with a dynamic feeling, and an equally fine BG.

    Super image Gail, I love the flight pose, so sharp and against the beautiful BG, its surely a big keeper.

    Looks like these birds/bird were flying back and forth in front of this killer Bg a few times and you caught some nice frames. I like this one as shows off the nice feathers on the wing well and gives a good sense of speed.

    Great capture, Gail. The light is wonderful on this detailed beauty. Perfect BG. Nice addition to your previous image of the BTGD.
