I liked this head on pose and only wished i had a faster ss to freeze the underwing feathers on the puffin's left side... I cleaned up some on the rock.

Like your title, Ann. Great light with nice detail especially in the eyes with a head on position. I don't mind the the soft feathers on left wing. Beautiful blueish gray BG .

Nice wing flap and head-on look. Good detail on the breast feathers. A bit of motion blur doesn't bother me. The touch of green is a plus. I might have cleaned up more of the whitewash.

Lovely image Ann. Fun title too!
Exposure is perfect, good IQ, great BG.
I like the little bit of wing blur.

Sharp with a very good exposure. And I love, love, love your interpretation :) And a lovely BKGR with nice soft light.

I love these "fishermens' tale" or "orchestra conductor" poses. All looks good here, no worries about the softer wing feathers as motion blur like this is quite OK.
