Welcome John I hope you decide to join us here! Very clean image nicely composed, the DOF is good though the head is just a fraction out of focus, I like it very much, I am looking forward to seeing more.
Beautiful light, nice comp and background , and excellent detail - especially in the wings. As Jon notes, the head is just a bit softer than the rest - you might try a little more selective sharpening there to see if that helps. Very well done!
