An OOF background was placed behind the flower. When processing I used color efex to soften the flowers. Did I soften too much? not enough? Comments welcome!

    Bob,

Greetings. Hmm, I'm not a fan of the soft look so you should take that into account when I say too soft. There are a number of spots in the bg that could use some additional blur, though: just to the left of the center flowers, slightly above both top flowers, 1/3 from the left top edge. I do like the color, would like to see the flowers pop out a bit more (toning?).

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

I like the bg and the soft flowers. The pink on pink is lovely. If you want to make the flowers stand out a bit more, you could up contrast--I just tried it. I agree with Michael that there are a few places that need cleaning up in the bg. I would clone out the partial leaf and partial flower at the bottom.

Hi, Bob, sorry I'm late and Michael and Anita both addressed my concerns with the image. I like the softness of the image - just some clean up should do the trick.
