Crouching low to the ground, I counted over 72 Giraffe in the vicinity of this image , of which just 13 are shown here, it was breeding season and all the males and females had come together to select their partners.
What a morning to winess this beautiful spectacle.
Unfortunately at this reduced web size the impact is much reduced, but hopefully you'll share my vision.

    Nikon D810 Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8 1/100s f/16 ISO200@ 28mm. Cropped lower FG/part upper sky to 16-9 format, curves, levels, TK adj, in ACR & PS CC'15.

    Cheers

Marc, this is really cool. Love the pano with the large number of giraffes and the exposure looks great. TFS.

You know I would love this, as I do...
Wish for more sky - there is some nice blue peeking through?

Can't disagree with more sky Morkel, and I hear you, however I did try that version, but felt the tower lost more impact for this limited 1200px wide web version, certainly on a large print

1M wide it brings out all intended impact.

Really nice shot Marc, I like your thinking, and it must be frustrating to post it small an a screen when it's really crying out for a large print.

I try not to read other peoples view before forming my own opinion, so I know you've already answered this, but for me I would lose some of the foreground, maybe 1/3rd or so and add some extra sky. I had a little play with it, and although I pretty much 'butchered' the shot as I had to stretch the sky, to me at least the result was a bit more dramatic. I've no idea if you think it needs more drama or not, but IMHO it's worth a look.

    Hi Marc,
A really cool shot. It’s a shame you could not include all 72 of them in it J.
I find the blue bits of sky a bit distracting. May be they look too bright on my display. Nevertheless a wonderful picture!

    Kalin

    Hello Marc,

I like this very much, with my mind's eye I can already see the print:) I also envision a B/W conversion.

Well composed and lovely colours. This might sound a bit crazy, but I would even play with levels or curves to achieve a less pastel, more striking look.

Indeed a spectacle to get one's heart going, well seen and captured, thank you so much for sharing

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Marc - This works very nicely. Like the pano. Not an easy shot for it all to come together with spacing and having no "tourist views."

    TFS,
    Rachel
