    Like this image very much, Tim. The light is beautiful and he stands out against the habitat. Nice details and handling of the blacks and whites.

    Nice details and beautiful light. I really like the habitat in this one and the thorny perch. If mine I would be tempted to clone out the grass that touches the tip of the tail and also to clone out the small stick that intersects the birds feet. Also a few of the small sticks that protrude from the main perch seem a little bright to me. Especially the one that curves up right under the tail. I would lower the highlights on them so as not to distract from this beautiful gnatcatcher.

    Missed getting this shot on our visit, very nice presentation with great exposure and detail. We need to go back when it gets cooler
