Sanjeev, a nice classic portrait.
I tend to often be too shallow on DOF too, opting for f5.6 instead of f8 and regretting it later. Here, f4.5 was too shallow for the especially long snout/muzzle of the dog.
You had the ISO to go to f8 and ISO-1600...
Also wish the dog's right ear was lifted for petter pose/position. Colour and contrast look good, though I might be tempted to go for a bit more midtone contrast.

Hi Sanjeev -- This is a lovely looking portrait ! I too instantly felt that your choice of DOF in this case could have been a f 8 , that soft snout is taking positives out of this image . Colours look good though and i think i am fine with the midtones . TFS !

Love the pose, BG and overall quality & colour of image here Sanjeev, gotta agree with the narrow DOF choice, a common error we all have made especially with long primes.
