    Default Burning Sunflower

Took this multiple exposure ( 6 shots) at an indoor workshop and decided to play with it in my PS sandbox. First I darkened with Viveza the blue bg to contrast with the sunflower petals that reminded me of flames.( Its been very hot here in Md.) I then ran the result through Color efex detail extractor to bring out some detail in the petals and fractilius added the flame like feature to the petals. Finally to bring out the detail in the center of the flower itself I used a screen blend mode followed by a black mask. I then painted in some detail in the center of the flower.

Interesting technique. Glad the center is still textured rather than a "dark hole". Blurred background helps stabilize it.

Bob, this is a great example of a multiple exposure with the added benefit of your filters (especially Fractalius) to enhance your vision. I like your composition also. It's so nice to see you posting here again

Fantastic image. I love the golden petals against the blue bg. This is an excellent multiple exposure. Love the processing you did. The center of the flower looks excellent--dark but with detail.
