This bear caught a large silver salmon right in front of the group.. We were grateful for that. Slight crop for leveling horizon

Hi Dale -- Lovely moment captured with a nice low angle! You must have got some tons of images of these creatures .

I think the subject is not sharp , in fact that forearm is appearing sharp rather then the face. You could check the FP for that matter .

Hi Dale great composition, perfect timing and the whole image just works oh so well with all the content, but agree with Hasseb, the image is not sharp sadly. A bit more DoF perhaps and certainly SS, as you had plenty of ISO to hand I feel. A great moment to witness too, just love these bears!!!

1st image had 0 sharpening applied.. I'll repost with some selective smart sharpening with these settings 90 .1 0, two passes.

OK Dale, look forward to it, but surprised it needs two rounds applied, at these settings.

Love the pose Dale, but unfortunately I think the shutter speed was just too low for the action.

Such a cool pose and look here. Would love to photograph this myself one day, Dale!
Have to agree with comments above, think the SS was a tad low for the head movement?
