    Default Long Eared Owl

I posted a similar image a few weeks ago, but as I was going through my edits I found that I was able to get some from a different angle. Here, the branch in front of the bird is a bit lower, and I think it works a little better. Any comments appreciated, thanks.

This is mama long eared owl, in the Lamar Valley area of Yellowstone back in June.

Nice look at an owl that tends to be secretive, at least in my experience. The crop is a bit extreme and I wouldn't mind seeing some extra room on the sides, especially the left. The eyes are a bit funky but probably due to the broken light coming through the trees.

the image is too small for critique, you can post up to 1000 pixels tall.

Great looking owl and frame. Agree with Arash that it's difficult on this image to assess. Notice the image seems quite long. Is there any way to give it a more conventional vertical crop I wonder.
