    Good-looking bird and take off pose. Was the original underexposed? It looks as if positive EC would have helped, an aperture around 8 would have given you a much higher shutter speed. Maybe you could do some curves for more details in the blacks and there is a S/H halo around bird and perch.

    The pose, light, majesty of the eagle and perch all working well here. Axel made some good points on things to improve. The image looks soft but I think it might not have been sharpened correctly. There is also a very slight green color cast.

    Love the pose and subject. There is a very large halo around the whole bird and perch...
