I'm back. I've gone on a couple of trips, one to England & Scotland, and one to New England. And, I've bought a new computer. I'm once again processing images.

This photo was created for a summer project of the Chester (PA) County Camera Club. The subject was: "Pacific" and we were to focus on color. Here is the explanation I posted on Flickr:

I started with this image which I took through a shop window, I think it was a knitted scarf:

Then I used the Topaz Simplify filter to get this:

I then used the Forward Warp Tool in the PS filter Liquify to create the waves.

Hi, Anita, it sounds like you've had an exciting summer! I love this image - the colors and sense of motion made me think of the sea instantly. The greens remind me of seaweed underwater as it floats and sways with the tide. (Or algae if you live in Florida). It's good to have you back.

If it made you think of the sea, then the image was successful!!!

Anita, this is a lovely blend of colors with great fluidity. It appears we are drifting back home as summer wanes.

    Anita,

Greetings. Very cool. I like the seeming liquid flow of the image. It has inspired me to work on some wave photos that I have. Thanks for posting.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-
