Hi folks took this image during the visit in India in Feb this year , location was the gorgeous Kaziranga NP in Assam
We followed this Big Asian Elephant over a longer distance without really seeing him from the vehicle , as he was in the high elephant grass and we could only see the grass moving and not him , so we hoped he would cross the road . And he did .
This guy was quite impressive by its size and tusks .

Lovely environmental scene of a really nice looking bull elephant here... Really nice of him to step out in the open for you! The red fruit or berries in the trees add a bit of interest to the scene

Very nice habitat/animalscape here Andreas, and agree with dale the red berries/branches from the tree add a lovely contrast and framing.

Is that smoke or early fog/haze in the BG Andreas?

Hi Andreas - I agree with Dale and Marc. First thing I noticed was how the reds add a nice splash of color. Nice view of him crossing the road. I had not noticed before how much smaller their ears are than African elephants. Very long tusks. Great to see a bit of the environment.

I really like this, Andreas! Great framing, colours and soft mood. The road actually adds here as a leading line into the scene.

Hi Andreas --This is a very beautiful image ! the lovely red flowers also known as the flame of the forest are a special attraction in Indian jungles. The Elephant looks big and strong and in prime condition . Very nicely done and i loved this image .

    TFS !

    Lovely image Andreas,

Looks like a page stolen from a story book, quite a magical scene.

Well processed and beautiful colours, nice composition too. Good thinking on techs.

    Keep them coming, Boetie.

    Warmest regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Andreas, can only echo the above, nice one.

I feel it's all about the atmosphere and the environment rather than the techs.
