Well, wasnt sure about this one nearly posted it in out of the box. Did a bit of work to this, was a bit soft to start with, sharpened the eyes and the bird, selectively lightned the mouth area and cropped.

Kinda reminds me of a putting on your makeup pose. (If you are a Lady of course)

I flat out love those eyes! Crop looks fine to me too.

Couple bright spots on the breast feathers that might need toned down..That face expression ROCKS!

Hi Lance Do like the crop and the image is a riot !!! Love he eye contact, open beak and expression !!!!

Just a couple of suggestions. Might want to clone in some texture to the white areas that have none, simple fix. Can quick mask and will take seconds. The other is selecting the eyes and lightening the increasing saturation !!! I like this image a lot !!!
