    5DmkIII, f8, 1/1250 sec, ISO 800, 500mm+2XTC , window mount. Cropped for composition, selective tonal contrast applied to the bird, some cloning applied to the back of its head to correct a shadowed area.

    John, nice image, nice BG, colors, I would remove the white feathers on the tip of its beak though.
    Would prefer a bit of a tighter crop, and loose some of the leaves on the left.

    John....I like the sharpness in you image ( esp those claws). You also did a nice job placing the eagle in the bg framing him nicely with the blue sky. I agree with Tim about the feathers on his beak. The leaves don't really bother me

    Very nice, love the texture on the Sycamore branch, I'm OK with the leaves and great details in the feathers.

    Thank you all for your comments.
    Looking closer at "the feathers on his beak", I believe they are neck feathers sticking out and look like they are on the beak. Never the less, I agree, and I will remove them.
