It is a very pleasing shot, something is bugging me slightly, is it noise or is it a big crop? Maybe the blacks have been lifted a little too much?
I get the impression it is a good shot but something is just not quite right????

Interesting comments Jon, but I'm afraid I can't help you here. It was not a big crop, and I can't identify any problem with the blacks. But your comments are always appreciated.

I love the pose and the colours on the bird. I can also see what Jon is on about, especially on the upper body of the bird, and the BG. I would have liked to see a better HA.
