Default arctic tern back to the nest...

i was able to catch this tern with his head up as he descented to the ground nest. This time in processing, I left the exposure as shot and i believe the reds are okay and have detail, etc, ... Any suggestions about the crop, not sure if i should have added more grass in front. I cloned out a couple of intersecting tall grasses, below the feet and behind left wing.

Awesome capture! I might have had the bird a little higher in the frame, just my opinion. But very nice overall

I like the flight pose and the crop is ok with me. Lovely detail on the tern. I think the BG colours look real good with the nice light.

Late to the party Ann. Love it. I like the beautiful BG and the wing position/pose of the bird. The reds look good. Once again, it's unmistakably yours. ..and I don't know if that's a problem for you? I mean it as a compliment.
