Default Suggestions for easy to use portable hardrive. Please help!

Anyone have a suggestion for an easy to use and reliable portable hard drive with a capacity of 250 GB or more. I would like to take it on a trip to the Panthanal in Brazil. Viewing the images is not a priority..just storing would be fine!
    Thanks

I have one but did not think of the brand when I bought it. I just made sure it was one that draws its power from the computer. I have a Macbook Pro so I go one with Thunderbolt connectivity.

I have a Lacie 500gb that is several years old, very reliable and has a ruggedized outer case. Connects via firewire. Plug it in and it shows up on the desktop, easy.

If you're PC, make sure to get USB-3 comparability. I also like the Lacie drives in my PC system. Western Digital makes a 1TB USB-3 that I bought at MicroCenter for $56 and use to move files between my home backup and my office backup. I've been carrying around for 6-months, but it doesn't have a rubberized coating on the case, like the Lacie.
