    Default Night Lights

Aurora Borealis in Northern Minnesota on Devilfish lake. I was out on a very dark night enjoying the bright stars, around midnight, I noticed the sky was getting a lot brighter, almost like dawn, then a bright green strip cut the sky in half, circled around, then exploded, filling the sky with greens, silver strobes, and splashes of purple! I was lucky to see this, and glad I had my camera ready! Canon 7D, Tokina 11-16mm at 13 mm f2.8, 6seconds, 1250 iso.

A very nice Aurora photo. Not overdone and realistic. I might just sharpen the whole thing a tad.

Lovely mood here, and the dark silhouette FG helps us focus on the beauty of the sky.
I agree with Dan - add a touch of sharpening?

Fantastic image! I like the variation in the heights and shapes of the trees, it makes the shoreline a very interesting element.
