    Default Horseshoe Lake Sunrise

I am leaving tomorrow for another week up at the cottage on Horseshoe Lake and am hoping for more conditions like last week with misty sunrises. Here is another image from my misty morning canoe on the morning of July 17th. This time the sun is captured rising behind one of the larger islands. At times the mist was rising so thick that I could barely see the front of my canoe.

    Nikon D800
    Nikon 24-85mm VR Lens @ 24mm
    ISO 200, f16 @ 1/160 sec
No filters, Vibration Reduction & Virtual Horizon activated
    Handheld from the canoe

Look forward to comments and suggestions.

I prefered the earlier image Andrew but this still has a nice mood to it. You have suppressed the sun nicely with the tree..

Lovelly mood Andrew, my only suggestion would be to increase a bit the saturation.

Good luck for next trip here and hope you get some more nice sunrise images.

Lovely mood - not as strong as the previous one but still a worthy keeper!

Agreed. I like the first one better. Very good one nonetheless, Andrew!
