    Default "Head Rush"

This was from a fun morning when we had an outing with BPNer's Patrick Sparkman, Glenn Conlan, Chris Mayne and Arthur Morris. Patrick and I were standing on the shoreline to the left of the group when these two started their dance. They came straight at us and we both started blasting away with our 1DXs as they came closer and closer.
They wound up ending the rush beyond full frame and I thought I had gotten wet from all the splashing :) This is right before they got too big in the viewfinder and is pretty much full frame.

Thanks as always for looking and for your input. I appreciate it.

What is there to say? Simply amazing , beautiful shot.
Whites are gorgeous, the fact that both birds are tack sharp adds to the magic of this image.

Dave nice shot of the "Dance" I sure hope we get some rains this winter or this might be a thing of the past at this location.
All the techs are spot on.

Wow David, what a killer good image. F/10 has both birds beautifully sharp, and the churned up water is just fantastic. Techs are perfect as always, and your almost FF composition is well captured. Masterful work my friend. :-)

What an amazing image David. Superb action, and well done getting both subjects sharp at this range. The whites and the texture of the whites look great. Congrats on this image.

I remember this one, you were in a great spot and nailed the birds at there best distance of the morning. Great exposure on a difficult subject

Beautiful, Dave. This photo reminds me a lot the first time I saw a video of this bird dancing.

First of all, killer title for this image. Love seeing the pair in their synchronized dance and seeing one of each of their feet, their eyes and beak and that amazing splash.
