    One of the few varieties of humming birds in my area.
    I intentionally shoot at a bit slower SS for a bit of wing blur to show movement, if not they look like they're hanging from a string IMO.

    The hummer is beautiful and I always like a bit of wing motion as well. The details on the throat are superb.
    Love all the colors.
    I am not sure about the wall of flowers on the left. a bit overwhelming for my taste..

    Tim it really is amazing how you have captured all that lovely feather detail,totally agree with you about the wing blur it gives the shot real life.

    The Pride of Madeira flowers set off this wonderful humming bird shot nicely. Great light on the feather detail

    The color palette in this image is really pleasing, Tim. I am taking note about the shutter speed for this bird.

    looks pretty good Tim, hard to make a good hummer shot without the usual flash technique but you proved it's possible
