Hi folks here another image for this month theme from my side
This image is also a reminder and i dedicate it to my friend Andre ....
It was taken during our trip to KTP in 2014 close to Mata Mata campsite .
4 youngsters kept the adults busy ... as it was early in the breeding season the youngsters has been still skittish and raced backed with every disturbance created by human presence .
So it was very difficult to get the shots .... and man they are running so fast and it was so hard to keep the focus on them .

    Canon EOS 1 Dx
    EF 200-400 IS L + 2,0 TC ( 800 MM)
    HH

    F 8 ; Iso 5000 ; 1/800 sec ; i know settings has been borderline on the SS

Processed with DPP 4 and PS CC ; cropped for comp from all sides , to 70 % of FF

Thanks for watching and commenting to my last posting

Hi Andreas, lovely light (especially through the ear) and a nice little cutie too!

I like the angle and good to see you pushing the tech hardware, I'm aware that you can bolt on the 1.4 & 2x, but the IQ does suffer at times, albeit at this size it looks OK, but at full res??? Agree with you, SS is too low and may also impact on the actual IQ.

Hi Andreas- High cute factor here. Nice warm light though I wish some of it was actually hitting the face but you handled the shadows well. Good low pov too. I read your intro to be that you used the 2.0 without engaging the 1.4?

I haven't seen Cape Fox kits this small in a long time in KTP!
Gorgeous light here Andreas, just wish the head was tweaked a little more towards you for more light eh?
Looks good for the 2x engaged, and fine details seems great at this resolution.

Hi ANdreas -- Very cute little character and the light hitting its ears also looks lovely . The low angle makes this work much better and agree with your self critique regarding the ss . I also find it a bit soft , a round of sharpening on the subject is required in my opinion .

Thanks Steve , Rachel , Haseeb , Keith and Morkel for your kind comments .

I know it is not the best IQ .... conditions could have been better ... but light was low and kit was pushed to limit . I would have preferred more light and also coming from a different angle ... was not in my hands though
Still i like this one for web presentation .

    Cheers Andreas
