    I captured this image at Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D7000
    Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED shot at 260mm (390mm FFE)
    1/500 F/8 Matrix Metering +1 1/3 EV ISO 500 AWB
    Post processed in Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC, work with the adjustment brush on the face, Iris Enhancement and darkening the pupils to the eyes, corrected a green color cast to the white feathers under the bill
    Cropped for composition and presentation

    Certainly fits the theme! The tongue poking out to the side is a nice little addition.

    The greens under the chin could use a bit more tweaking. The repost had a selective color layer run, greens, with cyan to -100, magenta +100, yellow - 100.

    Just an option.

    Hey Randy, thank you so much. This forum is wonderful for learning, I have never used Selective Color in Photoshop before. Now I have to go read about it. Easy to do, here is the repost, I knocked the Magenta down to +50 because on my display it appeared a little Magenta cast was creeping in. Thanks again for taking the time.

    Fair enough, repost looks good. Depending on monitor calibration, subtle differences are expected.

    Interesting perspective on this wonderful poser, Joe. It's actually very pleasing with the symmetry in the eyes.
