The little Noisy Miner (Micky Bird) is becoming another regular visitor.

This image may have turned out better if he was facing the light.

Basic ARC adjustments including WB. In PS, BG highlights toned down and slight NR. Smart sharpened and slight crop from top and RHS.

Great focus from the eye right back to the feather detail around the legs Glennie and the bokeh BG is perfect for this bird and it's perch.

Good to see you dipping your toes in the Avian section more Glennie, it'll really push your photography (well it did with mine anyway!)

I like your presentation here, the colours look better than your last posting. A good posting, nice composition and good details.

Such a cool bird. Photo is very nice. Great background, composition and perch. I wish the head was angled slightly more towards us (parallel to the back of the camera) and in a perfect world the sun angle being slightly lower would have prevented those shadows on the belly. Still a very nice photo. Also nice to see the passerines getting some representation on this page. I try my best to get to shots of the smaller and harder to photograph birds. I know how difficult they can be so I applaud the effort to get them. Getting the perfect angle in perfect light and perfect background is many times harder with these kind of birds as opposed to raptors and terns and birds like that.

I agree about the HA but other than that this one looks great. Nice details and colors and I like the BG and perch. Well done

A slightly better head angle would have put this over the top, but I like the subject, colours, perch, BG, and comp. It does look like it was intent on something (food?).

Glennie you have some lovely natural feather detail and the bird is pin sharp all looks great on that nice bg,just my personal view of course but I am fine with the head angle, very nice indeed.

Very nice. I like the BG.
My only wish is for a slightly better HA.
IQ is good. Good choice of comp as this pose can be a bit tricky to frame correctly,
