    Greater Spotted doing what comes naturally.
    No bait, fat, peanuts- nothing - just a dead birch log. Done from the pool hide so no time to change settings. You can see where its demolished the bark off the log. No wall hanger and has many faults but not something one gets to photograph too often. One for the "purists" really

    Certainly shows a natural scene, nice colors. Yes, some noise and a bit busy. Nice display of the woodpecker 'grip'.
