    Around here American Coots are very common and I don't usually shoot them, but it was nice to see one in-flight and it turned out to be my favorite shot of this bird.

    A very unique in-flight frame Tim, must admit had never seen one flying like this. well done, my only suggestion is to brighten the tail area a bit

    Love the colours on this image Tim. Tans and blues. I like the way the sky melts into the BG. Have they got blue tips on the secondary remiges? It seems like I am seeing colours no one else is, so maybe I am completely wrong here!
